Born in Seoul, 1981, Hyungshin Hwang is a Korean designer based in Seoul. He graduated B.F.A and M.F.A from Hongik University. Currently working in Seoul he has produced a variety of objects and is participating in various projects. He has been articulating ordinary experiences and past memories through creating objects and recently continues his work with his idea of ‘layered series’. These objects premiered at KIAF in 2007, and have since been presented in various shows including DMY Berlin Design Festival
